The Expedition Training Network was born out of necessity and a shared passion for big adventures around the world.  As a community, travelers tend to share difficult lessons learned directly from trials and tribulations with hopes that others will enjoy their journey with less heartache.  We realized that if we can rally fellow travelers together and coordinate these lessons in an enjoyable online format, we can reach an even bigger audience and foster the next generation of responsible travelers.

We cannot claim to be the authority on international overland travel. For this reason we collaborate with other experienced travelers from every walk of life, who rely on various means of transport.  Motos, 4×4’s, compact 2WD’s, big expedition trucks and RV’s, cyclists, backpackers, etc.  Many of the concepts that we teach are universal but we can also provide very specific content to prepare you for what lies ahead on your journey.
